UNDP has launched an Innitative for supporting with a grant the private sector enterprises who are interested in creating new jobs through green investments, that is, introducing green products, services, technologies or processes.

The support is awarded in the form of a grant - non-refundable funds intended to finance new business investments aimed at transitioning to a green economy, during which the following types of investments will be supported: purchase of new equipment (machines, tools, equipment for renewable energy sources, specialized software, licenses to use the software, and similar fixed assets), and equipment and materials for energy efficiency.

The support can only support the purchase of new equipment and/or materials which digitalize and improve the efficency of the companies.  The amount of the grant is intended to finance the value of the purchase without VAT. The beneficiary of the support is obliged to provide funds and settle the VAT obligations for these purchases.
